Located at Van Isle Marina in beautiful Sidney, British Columbia, South Island Marine has been providing mariners with top quality service for over 11 years. South Island Marine is the only authorized Nissan and Tohatsu dealer in the greater Victoria area. Our marine technicians specialize in diesel, inboard & outboard motors, stern drives, installations and repairs of yacht systems including Spectra Watermakers, Hurricane II heating systems and much more. All of our marine technicians are certified in their field.

 

The President

Darrin Dorio, President of South Island Marine has over 25 years experience in the marine industry. Darrin assisted in the development of the new Marine Technician apprenticeship program with the ITA of British Columbia, collaborating with industry leaders and government. He has received numerous accolades in the industry for his hard work and dedication to increased standards in marine service and education.
